GCD Studios Blog Hop!

Welcome to the GCD Studios Necklace Blog Hop! You should be visiting me directly from the GCD Studios blog! This month, the design team is highlighting the gorgeous Chip Art necklaces and using our Chip Art tools and scrapbooking supplies to decorate them.

I used the rectangle necklace, the heart ornamental stamps and the Sparrow lowercase stamps to create this "love" piece. I used the smaller hearts as a border. I painted my piece cream and then went over it with a coating of brown paint and Mod Podge. I then went back and painted some of the hearts and "love" with red paint thinned down with water. I also used a brad from the Homespun Chic collection and a piece of red tulle that I tied in a bow at the top of my necklace.
